About the Job
NForce AI is looking for a part-time Business Development Lead to help create qualified opportunities for our AI agent platform.
NForce helps businesses deploy AI agents across voice, WhatsApp, email, and web chat. We work with companies that want AI to handle things like lead response, qualification, follow-ups, customer support, scheduling, internal workflows, and other operational processes.
This is a hands-on opportunity creation role across outbound, partner outreach, industry research, trade shows, conferences, local business events, and direct prospect conversations.
We are not looking for a desk-only growth strategist. We want someone commercially mature, scrappy, and comfortable getting in front of potential customers.
You will work directly with the founder to identify promising markets, create conversations, qualify opportunities, and help us discover repeatable sales motions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying promising verticals, accounts, partners, and events where NForce can create opportunities
- Researching companies and decision-makers before outreach
- Building targeted prospect lists for specific industries and use cases
- Writing and personalizing outbound emails and LinkedIn messages
- Following up with prospects and tracking conversations
- Qualifying inbound and outbound leads before they reach founder-led discovery
- Booking qualified demos and preparing useful notes before calls
- Attending trade shows, conferences, networking events, and local business events when relevant
- Walking trade show floors, approaching prospects, starting conversations, and turning interest into follow-up opportunities
- Supporting partner and channel outreach
- Testing different messaging angles, industries, offers, and outreach strategies
- Maintaining CRM discipline and clean pipeline notes
- Gathering market feedback and helping improve our positioning
This is an opportunity creation role, not a full-cycle closing role.
You will not be expected to negotiate complex deals or close implementation contracts on your own. The founder will handle serious discovery calls, solution scoping, pricing, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
The right person should be able to create qualified conversations and help move serious opportunities into founder-led discovery.
Ideal Profile:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, partnerships, field sales, growth, or a related commercial role
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfortable speaking with business owners, operators, executives, and decision-makers
- Confident approaching people in person at events and trade shows
- Able to research a company and quickly understand what might matter to them
- Commercially mature enough to qualify good opportunities from bad ones
- Organized and consistent with follow-up
- Curious about AI, automation, and how businesses actually adopt new technology
- Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage startup pace
- Able to work independently without needing every step defined
- Scrappy, practical, and willing to do the unglamorous work needed to create pipeline
Bonus points for experience with:
- AI, SaaS, automation, CRM, or consulting/services sales
- Selling to SMBs, mid-market companies, or traditional industries
- Trade shows, conferences, field sales, local business development, or channel partnerships
- Cold email, LinkedIn outreach, lead research, and prospecting
- HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, Clay, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Instantly, Smartlead, or similar tools
- Partner/channel sales
- Technical or consultative sales where understanding the customer’s workflow matters
This is a part-time role, expected around 10–20 hours/week to start.
Compensation:
The posted compensation range reflects annualized total compensation for a part-time role, including base and performance-based upside, depending on experience, availability, and results.
This role is remote-first, but candidates should be comfortable attending relevant in-person events, conferences, trade shows, and customer/prospect meetings when there is a strong business case.
If you are looking for a pure strategy role, this probably is not the right fit.
If you like creating opportunities, testing markets, talking to people, and helping an early-stage AI company find repeatable growth channels, we’d love to hear from you.
