About The Job
Hex5 Digital is seeking a part-time, results-driven consultant to support business development and proposal writing across both government (local, state, federal) and commercial sectors. This is a fractional, contract-based role focused on targeted, high-impact deliverables each month.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify government and commercial contracting opportunities
- Lead or support proposal development and submission
- Assist with teaming outreach and light capture strategy
- Refine and tailor marketing collateral, capability statements, and pitch decks
- Own the tracking and reporting of prioritized opportunities across our business development pipeline, with a focus on progress, positioning, and results.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience with GovCon or commercial RFPs (SLED or federal preferred)
- Strong writing and business development skills
- Familiarity with procurement platforms (SAM.gov, eMMA, GovWin, etc.)
- Able to work independently and meet short deadlines with minimal oversight
- DMV-based (Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Northern Virginia) candidates strongly preferred due to logistical coordination and potential in-person collaboration needs. Remote candidates may be considered if highly qualified.
Compensation
This is a part-time contract role designed for high-impact engagement—approximately 5–10 hours per month—with performance-based bonuses tied to successful submissions and contract wins. Compensation reflects a strategic, outcomes-driven approach and will be finalized with selected candidates.
