Role Overview
Porte Lux is seeking an experienced, highly organized Fractional Operations and Accounting Manager to own day to day operational execution and financial tracking across the business. This role is responsible for managing purchase orders through shipment, factory and vendor coordination, customer logistics, invoicing, receivables, and operational reporting.
This is a hands on execution role. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, and comfortable operating independently in a fast paced environment.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Manage purchase orders from creation through final shipment
- Track production timelines and shipments across multiple factories and customers
- Maintain and update all customer operational portals, systems, and required trackers
- Oversee operational compliance within customer portals
- Onboard new customers and vendors from an operational perspective
- Coordinate directly with factories and vendors
- Identify and resolve operational issues
- Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
- Improve systems and workflows
Accounting and Financial Operations
- Manage invoicing and receivables
- Track payments
- Maintain records in QuickBooks Online
- Support margin and cost analysis
Availability Expectations
Consistent availability during morning hours and late afternoon or early evening required
Qualifications
- Experience in operations within fashion or consumer goods
- Overseas factory experience
- Advanced Excel and QuickBooks Online skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
