The Company

Description: We help families navigate the realities of aging via senior living placement services and other ancillary services.

Stage & proof points:

  • 8-figures yearly revenue
  • Across 100+ markets in the USA

About the Work

Problem: We're operating in a constantly evolving and increasingly litigious industry, with many state by state nuances, and we want to do a better job staying ahead of it all.

Specifically, you'll:

  • Track legislative and regulatory changes across all states affecting senior care, Medicaid long-term care, veterans benefits, and consumer lending
  • Build a state-by-state monitoring system so local teams can see what's happening in their market
  • Build a legislative and advocacy playbook the company can scale across states
  • Build relationships across the senior services industry, with state associations, provider groups, and regulators
  • Engage outside lobbyists and policy advisors as needed
  • Position the company as a constructive, distinct voice in the senior services industry
  • Flag emerging risks early and advise leadership on how to respond
  • Work most closely with the CEO and heads of different business units

About You

You MUST have:

  • Led government affairs and industry relations initiatives within industries that are highly regulated and litigious. Examples include:
    • healthcare
    • serving vulnerable populations
    • lending and financial services
    • veterans services
  • Significant experience building relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry associations
  • Comfortable getting into the details and nuances of state by state regulatory environments
  • Based in the USA only

Nice to haves:

  • Existing relationships within the senior care ecosystem
  • Industry relations and PR experience
