About the Role

We are looking for an experienced legal professional to join us as a strategic advisor in the legal domain. This role is designed for an experienced, tech-savvy attorney who wants to stay closely involved in shaping legal technology, advising an early-stage company, and contributing to meaningful product and business decisions.

This role involves working directly with the founding team to validate product features, ensure alignment with real legal workflows, and support customer and investor engagement through domain expertise and industry relationships.

Responsibilities

Product Validation

• Review and validate product features, client implementations from a practicing attorney’s perspective
• Provide feedback on workflows, outputs, and usability to ensure they reflect real legal work, provide real value to legal industry
• Help prioritize features based on legal relevance and customer needs

Customer & Market Engagement

• Advice on positioning and messaging for law firms and legal departments
• Participate in select customer conversations to provide credibility and practical insight
• Introduce the product to prospective customers within the legal industry

Investor & Strategic Support

• Support investor discussions by validating legal market needs and adoption readiness
• Join select investor meetings or product demos as a legal domain expert
• Advise on legal-specific narratives for fundraising and strategic materials

Industry Networking

• Leverage legal industry relationships to generate qualified prospects
• Advice on partnerships with law firms, legal organizations, and law schools
• Help identify relevant events and forums to increase visibility
  

Ideal Profile

• Deep familiarity with common law firm and/or in-house legal workflows
• Strong interest in legal technology and innovation
• Established network within the legal industry
• Comfortable advising founders and early-stage companies
• Ideally, have experience working with startups/early-stage companies in the past, but not required

This role offers a hybrid compensation structure combining cash and equity:

• Equity participation to align long-term incentives and reward impact
• Flexible mix of cash and equity based on availability and contribution
