We’re backed by founders and senior execs from Gusto, SoFi, Cash App, Stripe, and Robinhood and some of the country’s top fintech VCs (Blank Ventures, Exponent, Contrary Capital, On Deck, Hustle Fund, Oxford Angel Fund).We are looking for a Fractional senior product design contractor to partner with us across multiple in-flight and upcoming projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to define user needs, and business goals.
• Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery.
• Drive design quality forward with designs that instill trust with our partners and end users.
• Conduct user research, review past research, and use insights to inform product design decisions.
• Work closely with engineering to implement and QA finished designs and continuously iterate on our products, always looking to improve what has been done.
• Wear different hats. We’re a small team so we’re looking for someone who’s okay with pitching in in different areas - i.e. helping create sales deck assets, images for marketing posts, etc.

Requirements

You have:

• 5-10 years of product design experience, with experience shipping high-quality work and iterating based on learnings.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating user-centered designs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

You are passionate about:

• Simplifying the unnecessary complexity in the world of finance.
• Finding elegant solutions to complex problems.
• Providing direct value to users, our partners and the business.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in fintech, B2B2C, and/or AI.
