About the Work

Our product has been built by developers, for developers, but with nobody thinking about the overall UX. We're looking for a Fractional Senior Product Designer to own the design of our core product surfaces, to help developers actually understand and use what we've built.

Specifically, you'll:

• Design a new user onboarding experience that introduces developers to a genuinely unfamiliar model paradigm
• Design the billing and pricing UI, as well as other parts of a product-led growth product (teams, roles, etc.)
• Improve our developer console and playground UX, with a focus on helping educate the user on how to use the product
• Integrate documentation and demos into the product experience
• Partner with our PM, front-end engineer, and developer advocate
• Collaborate with the team, in person, in SF

About You

You MUST have:

• Significant product design experience for developer-facing products, including:
  
  • Dev tools
  • Dev platforms
  • API-first products
• A strong UX foundation, and a strong interest and ability to empathize with a developer user
• Designed technically complex products, ideally one that requires educating users as part of the UX
• Based in the SF/Bay Area, and willing to work with us in person

Nice-to-haves:

• Claude code experience
• A former software engineer
