About the Role
We are an early-stage AI technology startup seeking a Senior AI Startup Strategist to help guide the company from initial concept through market validation and MVP definition.
This is a non-technical, strategy-focused role centered on market clarity, customer validation, and early-stage decision-making. You will work closely with founders to ensure the product direction is grounded in real customer needs and viable market opportunities.
This role is ideal for a senior operator or advisor with proven 0→1 startup experience who thrives in ambiguous, early-stage environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis
- Define ideal customer profiles (ICP) and core buyer pain points
- Validate AI use cases through customer discovery and interviews
- Collaborate on MVP scope definition, product roadmap, and positioning
- Shape go-to-market strategy and early traction plans
- Support investor-facing narratives, strategic planning, and key business decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in startup strategy, product strategy, or venture building
- Demonstrated 0→1 startup experience as a founder, advisor, or venture builder
- Strong expertise in market discovery, product-market fit, and go-to-market strategy
- Experience working with AI-enabled and/or SaaS products (technical depth not required)
- Comfortable operating hands-on in fast-moving, early-stage environments

- Startup Advisor or Venture Builder
- Former Founder or Head of Product
- Venture Studio Partner or Entrepreneur-in-Residence
- Product Strategy or Market Research Consultant
Location & Engagement
- Location: Miami–Fort Lauderdale preferred (remote candidates considered)
- Engagement Type: Fractional / Advisory / Contract
