Real Estate Entitlement Consultant

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Fractional Strategic Advisor / Consultant to support our team in refining our product vision and go-to-market strategy, and help establish relationships and engage with early adopters. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience and network in real estate development, with deep understanding of entitlements and permitting processes.

If you are up for it, you will:

• Help validate and refine product features based on deep understanding of processes, inputs, and workflows for entitlement and permit evaluation
• Advise on go-to-market, including customer segmentation and variations in needs
• Provide strategic input on pricing and positioning
• Facilitate introductions to real estate developers, planning consultants, and municipal representatives
• Participate in meetings with early adopters and design partners

Background and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in real estate development and/or land use planning
• Deep understanding of pre-construction workflows, especially zoning, entitlements, and permit pathways
• Familiarity with the complexity and variance of municipal approval processes, and how consultants and developers navigate them
• Strong network of real estate developers, planning consultants, and/or municipal representatives
• Prior experience advising or collaborating with early-stage ventures is a plus

Other desirable assets:

• Experience with digitization initiatives of permitting & entitlement workflows within municipalities or developers
