Program Lead

The Fractional Program Lead will help drive program execution for our pulmonary program, with a focus on IND-enabling activities, cross-functional coordination, and clear communication across internal and external stakeholders. This person should bring a strong learning mindset, comfort operating in a small biotech environment, and the ability to work collaboratively in a lean, fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day program coordination for the pulmonary asset during IND-enabling work.
• Partner with Development Operations, CMO, and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain timelines, priorities, and action items.
• Responsible for driving the strategy, development, and execution of a drug asset or portfolio from early research (discovery) through clinical trials and regulatory approval.
• Support planning, tracking, and communication across functional workstreams, including clinical, regulatory, and CMC as applicable.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and decision points, and help surface them early.
• Prepare concise updates, meeting materials, and status summaries for leadership.
• Work with a program manager who will report into this role.
• Maintain strong alignment across internal teams and external partners.
• 20 hrs a week and 9–12 month contract

Qualifications

• MD required.
• Experience in small biotech is strongly preferred.
• Pulmonology experience is required
• Strong communication skills, curiosity, and a demonstrated drive to learn and grow.
• Experience supporting programs through early development or IND-enabling work is preferred.
