Who You Are
- Passionate about (or excited to learn about) our core collectible categories (Pokemon, Magic, sports cards, and other trading cards) and NFTs
- An experienced, customer-obsessed product designer
- Comfortable incorporating qualitative and quantitative data into design
- Able to balance a variety of projects across the full user journey on mobile and web
- Excited to build something new and define the future of live commerce

Roles & Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to design user experiences from conception to launch
- Participate in all aspects of the design process to frame problems, research use cases and users, define insights, share your vision, prototype and produce launch-ready assets
- Support the engineering team through regular collaboration and delivery of production-ready assets and specifications
- Bring customer insights and design expertise into our long-term product planning to help define our vision for future products and features.
- Develop UX standardization by using and building on Design Language System alongside graphic design / marketing team
This is a fractional role. We are looking for you to lead our design practice on about 20 hrs / week. There is an opportunity for this to turn into a full-time Design Lead role, too. If that's you, great. Otherwise, we'd like you to help us hire this role. This would include:
- Design the interview process
- Conduct interviews with candidates
- Make a recommendation to us of top choice(s)
Required Non-Negotiables
- 8 or more years of experience designing industry-leading digital experiences - ideally related to eCommerce, consumer and/or live streaming
- Experience through the full product development process: from ideation to prioritization to execution, measurement, and iteration
- Track record of collaborating with a global team of engineers and product managers — including strong use of asynchronous planning/collaboration tools.
- Experience solving complex UX problems and a demonstrated ability to gather and incorporate market insights, user behaviors, and business data into design process.
- Portfolio of intuitive, engaging designs, wireframes, animations, and illustrations for a variety of audiences across Android, iOS, and Web
- Bonus Points: You love to collect trading cards, memorabilia and/or NFTs
