About Us
We're a marketplace for buying and selling small businesses, connecting verified sellers with qualified buyers across the U.S.
We've recently raised a Series A ($15MM total funding), and have close to 30,000 buyers on the platform so far.
About the Work
Our current Design Lead will be leaving us soon (with a well-constructed component system!), and so we're looking for a Fractional Principal Product Designer to own design across our core product surfaces, helping us through this transition period and beyond.
Specifically, you'll:
- Own product design for our org. Upcoming initiatives include:
- The redesign of our owner and buyer interfaces
- Introduce several new agentic workflows into the product
- Leverage and expand our existing design system
- Work mostly in Figma, plus Claude Code if you have the skillset/desire
- Help us better identify the north star of our product and design vision
- Work most closely with our co-founder, one PM, and small engineering team
About You
You MUST have:
- Senior-level, hands-on product design expertise at other early and growth stage tech startups
- A portfolio that clearly demonstrates exceptional UI skills
- Can quickly make sense of significant ambiguity and turn it into clarity
- Can be based anywhere in the world, but should be able to join the 10:30am ET standup at least sometimes
Some nice-to-haves:
- Comfortable working with Claude Code, in tandem with Figma
- Specific industry expertise in consumer fintech, marketplaces, or where an SMB owner is the user persona
