Your mission
HelloBetter is a pioneer in the field of digital healthcare. For more than 10 years, we have been developing evidence-based digital health applications for the prevention and treatment of mental health conditions. Our applications cover a variety of areas, including stress management, depression, problematic alcohol use, panic disorder and anxiety, vaginismus, and sleep disorders.
As a Fractional Operations Lead, you will cover for our Lead Operations Manager during his paternity leave. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of our Operating Model in his absence focusing on enhancing our analytical capabilities, implementing AI automation, and improving the overall workplace experience for our team.
- This is a Freelance project.
- Proposed Timeline: Jan - Jun 2026 with Handover Meetings in Dec 25
- Reports to: Philip Ihde (COO)
- Ops Team at HelloBetter: 2 Junior ICs
- Weekly Hours: max 20h
- Compensation: 3.500 - 4.500 Eur per month
- Location: +/- 4.5h from CET
Your objectives
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance for Operations team (2 junior managers)
- Manage, implement and optimise complex operational work flows optimisations across departments (especially including AI & Automation)
- Manage high-level contract negotiations and strategic supplier relationships
- Oversee critical operational governance and compliance requirements
- Create and maintain complex reporting dashboards and operational analytics to facilitate data-driven decisions
- Serve as strategic partner to COO
- Support company-wide resource allocation
Your profile
Hard Skills
- 5+ years senior operations or consulting experience
- Proven track record leading operational teams and complex projects
- Experience with AI implementation and change management
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (complex formulas, dashboards, analytics)
- Experience with contract negotiation and strategic supplier management
- Strong stakeholder management across multiple departments
- Fluent German and English
