Smart Tech LLC is seeking a highly accomplished startup finance and corporate development professional to help accelerate funding, commercialization, strategic partnerships, enterprise value, and long-term exit readiness.
Smart Tech develops healthcare AI products and provides enterprise services across artificial intelligence, data platforms, software engineering, digital transformation, and cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a founder-protective capital strategy that prioritizes non-dilutive funding and minimizes unnecessary equity dilution.
- Identify and pursue grants, strategic investments, commercial partnerships, government programs, and other appropriate funding channels.
- Build relationships with investors, healthcare organizations, technology companies, universities, government agencies, and strategic partners.
- Improve investor readiness through financial models, pitch materials, capitalization planning, due-diligence preparation, and data-room development.
- Create a practical exit-readiness strategy covering acquisition, licensing, strategic investment, recapitalization, or continued independent growth.
- Support commercialization, paid pilots, licensing opportunities, recurring revenue, and brand positioning.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of experience in startup finance, corporate development, investment banking, venture capital, strategic partnerships, or senior startup leadership.
- Proven involvement in successful capital raises, grants, strategic partnerships, licensing transactions, acquisitions, or company exits.
- Strong understanding of equity dilution, capitalization tables, term sheets, valuation, governance rights, and founder-control protection.
- Experience with AI, healthcare technology, enterprise software, data platforms, cybersecurity, or another regulated technology sector.
- Established and verifiable relationships with investors, strategic partners, government funding organizations, corporations, or research institutions.
Engagement and Compensation
This is a fractional, independent-contractor position with a modest monthly retainer and performance-based compensation tied to verified outcomes such as funding awarded, revenue generated, partnerships completed, and enterprise-value milestones achieved.
Any compensation connected to securities fundraising will be structured in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
