The Role
We're looking for an experienced strategic Fractional People leader to support Kitt through a period of maternity cover. Acting as a trusted advisor to our leadership team and supporting our People & Talent Executive, you'll bring senior HR oversight and drive forward the strategic pillars of our people agenda.
This is a hands-on fractional role, working between 1-3 days per week until September 2026, depending on business need, that will focus on business-critical people initiatives and strategic guidance.
You will be:
- Advising leadership and managers on employee relations and complex people issues
- Overseeing our annual compensation review process and ensure market competitiveness
- Interpreting engagement survey results and guide response actions with senior stakeholders
- Providing strategic input into workforce planning, including org design and succession
- Supporting hiring decisions for senior and specialist roles as needed
- Coaching managers on performance, feedback, and leadership capability
- Ensuring policies and processes remain compliant and reflect best practice
- Supporting return-to-work transition planning
About You
- A seasoned senior People leader (Head of People or equivalent) with strategic HR experience in a scale-up environment
- Confident navigating employee relations with a clear, fair and pragmatic approach
- Experienced in advising founders and senior leadership teams
- Familiar with high-growth businesses and the dynamic needs of hybrid working
- Able to work autonomously and collaborate closely with a junior team member
- Enjoys getting under the skin of a business and making an impact quickly
