Overview
FeedbackFruits is looking for an experienced Hands-On Interim Fractional Head of Finance/ Finance Manager to cover a maternity leave from mid-November 2025 until the end of June 2026. This is a fractional role (2–3 days per week), ideally suited to a finance professional with strong accounting and operational experience.
You will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and provide insights to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), while supporting and guiding the finance team during this transition period.
What you'll do:
Financial Operations & Month-End
- Oversee month-end close processes.
- Support the AP/AR Accountant in reconciliations and reporting.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition, including ARR checks, accruals, and deferrals.
- Post payroll journals and ensure all payroll-related costs are recorded correctly.
Reporting & Insights
- Deliver consolidated monthly financial reports with clear insights for the SLT.
- Provide commentary on variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Support preparation of materials for board and investor reporting (as needed).
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Partner with the FP&A Analyst in building and finalizing the 2026 budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with business priorities.
- Ensure accurate and timely cashflow forecasts, providing regular updates to SLT.
Cashflow & Risk Management
- Monitor cashflow and liquidity closely, escalating risks where needed.
- Provide actionable recommendations to safeguard financial stability.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the AP/AR Accountant and FP&A Analyst.
- Represent the Finance function with credibility and confidence to external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, banks, investors, suppliers).
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration between Finance and other teams.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience in finance operations and accounting (e.g., Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, FP&A lead).
- Solid knowledge of technical accounting, reporting, and SaaS/recurring revenue models.
- Skilled at translating financial data into actionable insights.
- Comfortable working in a fractional (2–3 days per week) capacity, balancing operational execution with team support.
- Strong communicator who can work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to support and mentor small finance teams.
