About The Job
We’re building the control panel for the knowledge economy — helping professionals access premium content (news, research, podcasts, videos, tools) through one seamless interface. Backed by top investors and used by Fortune 500s and fast-growing teams, we’re now rolling out a freemium tier and expanding into AI-powered workflows for summarization, sharing, and access automation.
The Role
We’re looking for a Fractional UX Designer to help shape and ship intuitive, elegant product experiences as we launch new features. This role will be deeply involved in turning raw ideas into polished, usable flows — and will work closely with the CEO, engineers, and product collaborators.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate product ideas and requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Design and iterate on interfaces for our browser extension, admin portal, and freemium experiences
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs are implementable and responsive across modalities
- Help define and maintain a design system aligned with our brand values of clarity, speed, and intelligence
- Conduct lightweight usability testing and rapidly iterate based on feedback
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of UX/UI experience with a strong portfolio of shipped digital products
- Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools), with a knack for thoughtful microinteractions and clean visual hierarchy
- Experience designing complex systems, ideally in SaaS, productivity, or content platforms
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and refining concepts alongside product and engineering
- Strong communication skills and low ego — you’ll be shaping a product, not just designing screens
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with browser extensions or content summarization tools
- Familiarity with AI UX or designing around LLM outputs
- Past experience designing admin dashboards, reporting tools, or procurement flows
Time Commitment & Compensation
- ~5-10 hours/week to start
- Competitive hourly rate or fixed monthly retainer, depending on fit
- Potential to scale into a full-time role as needs grow
