Why This Role Matters

This is a crucial role in the next stage of the business's evolution. Working directly with the Founder, you'll own the day-to-day finance function and play an active role in reporting, forecasting and analysing business performance with scope to grow into a broader, more strategic remit as the business scales.

What You'll Own

• End-to-end finance function: month end, VAT, payroll, year-end, and credit control
• KPIs, board reporting and rolling reforecasts
• Finance function process improvement and systems efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Qualified accountant with strong SME experience and comfortable owning end-to-end processes and systems
• Strong Xero capability. You've used it as your primary system and know how to make it work hard
• Equally happy being hands on and in the detail as in strategic/value creation planning
• Ideally experience with subscription or recurring revenue business models
• A career fractional, you have other clients, you manage your own portfolio, and you know how to deliver high impact.
