Finance Director

We are seeking an experienced Fractional Finance Director to join our leadership team on a 3-day-per-week basis. This is a hands-on, strategic role supporting our London and Paris operations, working as a trusted advisor to the CEO and acting as a key member of our Exec Leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance leader who brings both strategic oversight and operational depth.

Requirements

Short-Term Priorities

• Lead the Audit and R&D claim process commencing 1st April 2026
• Safeguard and manage the company's financial position
• Provide clear and consistent reporting to UK and Investor Directors
• Support Directors with key financial metrics (cash flow, P&L performance tracking)
• Oversee and support the UK Finance Team
• Manage and report on the Paris financial position

Medium To Long-Term Responsibilities

• Oversee the full UK finance function
• Partner with the Executive Leadership Team on strategic financial and operational

decision-making

• Report on Group finances to the CEO and wider Board
• Act as a trusted financial and operational advisor to the CEO
• Provide financial oversight across key projects
• Lead on pricing strategy, costing models, and performance metrics for project

delivery

• Provide ad hoc advice on UK and international tax credits
• Deliver scenario modelling and forecasting for the CEO and Investor Directors
• Key point of contact for external stakeholders (Auditors, Accountants and Banks)
• Take responsibility for all statutory reporting and compliance

Skills And Attributes

• Proven experience as a FD or senior financial lead with business strategy and

operations focus, ideally in growth, turnaround, or project-based environments

• Strong audit, R&D tax claim, and statutory reporting experience
• Commercially astute with excellent analytical and financial modelling capability
• Comfortable operating at both board and operational levels
• Experience in the VFX industry or similar creative environment would be highly

advantageous

• Experience managing multi-location or international finance functions is beneficial

Hours and location

Our core hours are 9.30am to 6.30pm or 10am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
