Since 2007, Artportunity Knocks has been dedicated to empowering youth through Arts, Education, Community Service, and Bridging Cultures. Our programs provide positive social-emotional outlets and academic support, acting as a bridge between arts and education. Recognizing the reduction of arts education in schools, we offer various arts enrichment courses to fill this gap. Serving over 75% low-income and single parent households in Cobb County, our goal is to make arts education accessible to all by offering free or low-cost programs. Role Description
The Director of Nonprofit Development (Fractional approx 20hrs a month) is a contract role that involves overseeing and implementing fundraising strategies, managing donor relationships, and securing resources for the organization. This hybrid role is based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing individual donor, planned giving and annual giving campaigns
- Coordinating End-of-Year campaigns other fundraising events
- Research and submit 3 grants per month.
Qualifications
- Experience in Individual Donor, Planned Giving and Annual Giving campaigns
- Strong skills in Philanthropy and Fundraising
- Competence in Grant Writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid setting
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 5+ years Experience in the nonprofit sector is a must
