Position Overview

We’re seeking a talented Data Analyst / Prompt Engineer to help us develop and refine AirOps’ AI features. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in building data processing pipelines with labeling, analyzing user feedback, curating data, creating evaluations (evals), and ensuring our AI delivers exceptional value to customers.

As a part-time contractor, you’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to shape the future of AI-powered capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize prompts for AI workflows to align with user needs and business goals, focusing on performance and functionality.
  
• Analyze user feedback data and behavior patterns to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize AI model performance.
  
• Develop and maintain evaluation frameworks (evals) to measure and track the quality and effectiveness of AI features across different use cases.
  
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to iterate on AI models and workflows based on data analysis and user feedback.
  
• Create and implement new AI-driven features using cutting-edge LLMs and advanced prompt engineering techniques.
  
• Monitor and analyze AI model performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure AI features meet quality standards and user expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in data science, machine learning, or related fields with a focus on AI/LLMs.
  
• Prompt Engineering: Proven expertise in designing and optimizing prompts for large language models.
  
• Evaluation Techniques: Strong understanding of AI evaluation methodologies and metrics.
  
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Python and data analysis tools.
  
• Data Communication: Experience with data visualization and effectively communicating technical findings.
  
• Remote Work: Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  
• Additional Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  
• Bonus: Experience with workflow automation tools like Zapier or Airtable, and a background in B2B SaaS or growth-focused environments.
