About Us
We're building a marketplace that helps public sector organizations buy technology solutions.
We're seed-stage funded, with hundreds of government customers buying software through our marketplace today.
About the Work
We're looking for a Fractional Controller who can oversee our growing finance, accounting, and compliance needs.
Specifically, you'll:
- Either handle the Accounting work yourself, or manage an outside firm (it's not much work)
- Handle payroll, pay our bills
- Make sure we're compliant across all 50 states
- Sales tax issues are top-of-mind for us
- Manage month-end closes
- Ad-hoc financial reporting for leadership and board meetings
About You
You MUST have:
- Held Controller or equiv. roles at other tech startups
- Exposure to marketplace businesses, where transaction volumes are HIGH
- Familiarity running down compliance issues like sales tax
- A maniacal attention to detail
- Based in the USA
Nice-to-have:
- FP&A experience
