About the Work

We're looking for a Fractional Controller who can oversee our growing finance, accounting, and compliance needs.

Specifically, you'll:

• Either handle the Accounting work yourself, or manage an outside firm (it's not much work)
• Handle payroll, pay our bills
• Make sure we're compliant across all 50 states
  • Sales tax issues are top-of-mind for us
• Manage month-end closes
• Ad-hoc financial reporting for leadership and board meetings

About You

You MUST have:

• Held Controller or equiv. roles at other tech startups
• Exposure to marketplace businesses, where transaction volumes are HIGH
• Familiarity running down compliance issues like sales tax
• A maniacal attention to detail
• Based in the USA

Nice-to-have:

• FP&A experience
