GenBio Inc. is a US-based biotechnology company advancing nature-derived therapeutic research programmes. The company is seeking an experienced part-time CSO to complement its existing scientific team and guide the next phase of development. The role is flexible and advisory in nature, with meaningful influence over GenBio's scientific direction and strategic positioning.

The successful candidate will bring senior experience from biotechnology or pharmaceutical settings, with relevant expertise across areas such as natural-product drug discovery, inflammation, antimicrobial resistance, immunology, or gastrointestinal therapeutics. Prior experience advancing early-stage assets toward preclinical or clinical milestones is strongly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and prioritise scientific research programmes across the portfolio
• Coordinate external laboratories and contract research organisations (CROs)
• Support intellectual property strategy and strengthen preclinical development plans
• Communicate scientific progress and strategy to potential pharmaceutical partners
• Present GenBio's science to prospective strategic acquirers and collaborators
• Provide senior advisory leadership to the internal scientific team

Job Requirments

• Senior experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical drug development
• Background in natural-product drug discovery, inflammation, antimicrobial resistance, immunology, or gastrointestinal therapeutics
• Demonstrated track record advancing early-stage therapeutic assets toward preclinical or clinical development
• Experience coordinating or managing CROs and external research partners
• Familiarity with IP strategy in an early-stage biotech context
• Ability to communicate complex science clearly to commercial and strategic audiences
