About Us

Peckwater Brands is defining the future of the food delivery market! We're a FoodTech scale-up that’s raised £25 million of funding, and we want to revolutionise food delivery through the creation and franchising of virtual food brands (brands designed for delivery), operated by anyone that runs a commercial kitchen - we think there’s about 70,000 of them in the UK. We are growing our team and looking for a fractional CFO to join us.

Responsibilities

• Own our operating plan: you build the forecast and budget, working with each department to agree on the right plan. You then hold the team accountable to hitting the plan and on track to deliver. Work with the leadership team to optimise our operations to maximise value creation.
• Strategic financial analysis: provide insight on the financial impact of our plans. Help us prioritise the right parts of our business and optimise our operations to be as profitable and cash-positive as possible.
• Cash management and cost control: Ensure we have the right budgets and controls in place to hit our budget. Oversee our Partner payment processes and banking processes.
• Financial reporting: build our Board financials and build the reporting our PE and VC backers want to see. This may include cohort analysis, longer term forecasting, and profitability analysis. You also file our monthly management and statutory accounts/audit requirements.

Qualifications

• You’ve probably been CFO or FD.
• You’ll be fully CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified.
• You’ve probably worked in a high-growth environment beforehand and can work at pace.
• You understand group structures and the complexities of this (e.g. transfer pricing, international tax.
• Have experience with fundraising processes, and credibility with external investors.#
• Significant FP&A experience, and have built out and maintained business models before.
