Role Description
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the company’s overall financial strategy and performance. This role leads the development and execution of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support sustainable growth and profitability. The CFO monitors and analyzes financial results, ensures timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, and provides clear reporting to executive leadership and key stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial controls and compliance, guiding cash flow management, supporting funding and investment decisions, and identifying financial risks and opportunities. The CFO collaborates with cross-functional leaders to align financial objectives with operational strategies and supports long-term planning, capital allocation, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Finance and Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic financial management.
- Demonstrated experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably as a CFO or equivalent in a distribution, industrial, or related environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA is highly beneficial.
- Strong understanding of cash flow management, capital structure, and risk management practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, part-time capacity, managing priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical business practices.
