Description
We are Destify! We focus on our people, our culture, and our technology. We have completely changed the way couples book their destination weddings by combining exceptional technology and service. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented financial expert to join our team. As our Fractional CFO, you will work closely with the Revenue team and COO to optimize financial performance, manage risk, and drive profitability. This is a part-time position, requiring 10-20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives to support the company's growth objectives
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to the executive team to inform strategic decision-making
- Develop and monitor key financial metrics, budgets, and forecasts to track the company's financial health and performance
- Assist in financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and tax planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency
- Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business planning and decision-making
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance/Economics, or related field (master’s degree preferred but not required)
- Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are desirable
- Proven experience as a CFO, Financial Controller, or similar senior finance role in a small to medium-sized company
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities with a track record of driving financial performance and growth
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Experience in managing financial operations, including cash flow, risk management, and compliance
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and the use of financial software and tools
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the company's industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
- Familiarity w/ EOS a plus but not required
