Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, financial statements, finance, analytical skills, and financial reporting, managing external accounting and book-keeping supplier. This role is located in Leeds but offers flexibility for some remote work. Applicants must be available to attend team and board meetings in Leeds.
Qualifications
- Strong background in financial planning, financial statements, and finance
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Experience with financial reporting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in working with VC's, Grant Funding bodies and have raised successfully at series A
- Experience in deeptech and/or University Spin Outs are a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Professional certifications are a plus
