Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, financial statements, finance, analytical skills, and financial reporting, managing external accounting and book-keeping supplier. This role is located in Leeds but offers flexibility for some remote work. Applicants must be available to attend team and board meetings in Leeds.

Qualifications

• Strong background in financial planning, financial statements, and finance
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Experience with financial reporting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience in working with VC's, Grant Funding bodies and have raised successfully at series A
• Experience in deeptech and/or University Spin Outs are a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Professional certifications are a plus
