Chief Financial Officer

(add)ventures is seeking an innovative Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with expertise in the advertising or service industry and a forward-thinking approach to using technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), to drive financial efficiencies and growth. This role involves strategic financial oversight, the ability to analyze complex data for actionable insights, and the vision to integrate AI technologies to optimize operations and financial forecasting.

NOTE: This is a remote position, but we are looking for someone in the New England area who is willing to come into our office occasionally, located in Providence RI.

Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy and Optimization: Enhance financial forecasting, risk analysis, and decision-making processes. Implement AI tools to streamline financial operations, reduce costs, and identify new growth opportunities.
• Data-Driven Insights and Analytics: Process and analyze financial data at scale, providing deeper insights into performance trends, operational efficiencies, and market opportunities.
• Innovative Financial Solutions: Explore and implement AI technologies to automate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance tasks, freeing up time for strategic analysis and decision making.
• Operational Efficiency: Work with IT and data science teams to deploy AI solutions that improve internal processes, from payroll and invoicing to client account management and project budgeting.
• Leadership in AI Integration: Advocate for the adoption of AI within the agency, guiding teams through the integration of AI tools and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A solid background in finance and accounting
• Experience advising at the enterprise level and C suite level
• Experience working advertising or a service industry required.
• Experience working at a mid size company required
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data into strategic financial decisions.
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI and digital technologies to drive financial efficiencies.
• Familiarity with AI platforms and tools relevant to financial analytics, forecasting, and operational management.
