We're building a new kind of healthcare service that bridges the gap between getting discharged from a medical facility and receiving followup care.

We launched a year ago and now operate with 15 facilities in NY and NJ, with plans to expand nationwide.

Our medical practice + technology offering has treated thousands of patients so far, reducing the chance of patients being re-admitted to the emergency room or medical facility by 70%.

About the Work

We don't have a strategic finance leader at the company today. We're looking for a forward-thinking Fractional CFO who can establish our financial strategy and help us navigate the complexities of the healthcare industry.

Specifically, you'll:

• Manage our forecasting and runway management
• Prepare us for board meetings
• Advise on coding and billing practices to optimize collections
• Help us further develop our reimbursements-based business model
• Oversee our outsourced accounting firm
• Work most closely with our CEO, as a strategic thought partner

About You

You should meet all of the following:

• You've led FP&A in other healthcare businesses
• A great understanding of public and private insurer reimbursement-based business models (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, ACOs, BCBS, etc.)
• Experience with businesses that have monetized patient data
• An understanding an interest in the future of the healthcare industry
• USA only

Nice-to-haves:

• A CPA or accounting background
• Direct healthcare billing experience
• NY/NJ/Tri-state area
