Bridgeway Billing is seeking a well-connected business development professional with existing relationships throughout the behavioral health, addiction treatment, and substance use disorder industries.
This is not a traditional sales position.
We are not looking for someone to spend their days cold calling, managing a CRM, or working through a high-volume sales pipeline. We are looking for a trusted industry professional who already has meaningful relationships with program owners, executive directors, CEOs, CFOs, and operational leaders throughout behavioral healthcare and can help create introductions and opportunities.
About Bridgeway Billing
Bridgeway Billing was founded with a simple mission: Bridging the financial gap between desperate families and life-saving services.
We believe great clinical care cannot exist without financial stability. Too many treatment programs struggle with insurance complexity, cash flow challenges, staffing limitations, and payer obstacles that distract from their primary mission of helping people heal.
Our team exists to solve those problems.
Today, Bridgeway Billing supports treatment providers across the country with a comprehensive revenue cycle management infrastructure, including:
- Insurance verification and benefit analysis
- Claims submission and follow-up
- Utilization review and authorization management
- Single case agreements
- Appeals and underpayment recovery
- Revenue cycle consulting
- Compliance support
- Reporting and analytics
Unlike many billing companies, we are exclusively focused on behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment.
Our team understands the unique challenges facing:
- Residential treatment centers
- Detox programs
- Wilderness therapy programs
- PHPs
- IOPs
- Eating disorder programs
- Addiction treatment providers
- Other specialty behavioral healthcare organizations
We are a remote-first organization with approximately 60 team members nationwide. Our culture is built around accountability, service, continuous improvement, and a belief that details matter.
Many of our clients come to us after years of frustration with:
- Understaffed billing departments
- Growing accounts receivable
- Inconsistent payer follow-up
- Authorization challenges
- Limited visibility into financial performance
Our goal is not simply to process claims.
Our goal is to become a trusted operational partner that helps treatment programs build sustainable businesses so they can focus on changing lives.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is already respected and connected within the behavioral health and addiction treatment industries and can help introduce Bridgeway to organizations that may benefit from our services.
The ideal candidate has existing relationships with:
- Program owners
- Executive directors
- CEOs
- CFOs
- Admissions leaders
- Operations executives
- Healthcare consultants
- Industry influencers
- Referral partners
You should have a strong understanding of the behavioral health landscape and be comfortable identifying organizations that may benefit from additional support with billing, utilization review, payer management, and revenue cycle operations.
Ideal Backgrounds
- Former Director of Business Development
- Former Outreach Representative
- Former Executive Director
- Former Program Owner
- Behavioral Health Consultant
- Healthcare Advisor
- Revenue Cycle Consultant
- Industry Connector with an established professional network
Compensation
This is a flexible, contract-based role.
Compensation includes:
- Monthly retainer
- Bonuses for qualified meetings
- Additional bonuses for signed client relationships
Compensation structure will be tailored based on experience, network strength, and expected involvement.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
We're not looking for someone to sell a product they don't believe in.
We're looking for someone who understands the challenges treatment programs face and sees value in connecting providers with a company that can genuinely help them operate more effectively.
The right person will already have credibility within the industry and will enjoy making introductions that create meaningful partnerships and long-term value for treatment programs.
