About Us
Our software helps marketing teams at e-commerce brands automate their marketing. We identify target audiences, generate the custom emails, ad creative, ad copy, even custom landing pages. Marketing Managers simply review the auto-generated assets and hit "publish".
We sell to Marketing leaders at e-commerce brands that do between $50MM - $1BB in annual sales volume. The pitch is that we can significantly reduce their operating costs while producing way more targeted marketing collateral.
Our CEO is a highly experienced technologist in the e-commerce space, exiting his last company to Nordstrom.
About the Work
Our CEO has done all the selling to date, but has no prior sales expertise. We're looking for a Fractional VP of Sales to own our sales strategy and coach our CEO.
Specifically, you'll:
- Define our sales "stack" for the entire system from lead identification through first appointment
- What is the right tooling? CRM, call recording, etc.
- How can we make it MORE automated?
- Coach and manage the CEO like they are a Salesperson of yours
- Listen to sales calls and provide feedback
- Make introductions to qualified e-commerce marketing leaders in your network
- This is NOT a role where we will build leads lists from scratch
- We should be qualifying existing leads from our collective networks
Compensation looks like $200 - $250 / hr, though we're open to a reduced base for meaningful commission as well.
About You
You should meet all of the following criteria:
- You've held full-time Sales leadership roles at well-known e-commerce brands and/or SaaS startups that sell to well-known e-commerce brands
- You've built sales systems and set up tooling from scratch
- You have a significant rolodex of mid-market e-commerce companies ($50MM revenue+)
- If you can't name major e-commerce brands that you have professional relationships with, then you won't be a fit
- You lean heavily towards sales automations vs. manual processes
