Job Title: Fractional Buyer / Head of E-Commerce (Part-Time)

Through thoughtful design and elevated taste, we curate products and experiences that celebrate our customers' authenticity. We're seeking a visionary Fractional Buyer / Head of E-Commerce to shape our product strategy and digital presence.
The Role
As our Fractional Buyer and Head of E-Commerce, you’ll lead product strategy and merchandising for a fast-growing lifestyle brand. We are more than just fidget spinners. We are looking at everything from furniture and household goods to well designed items for travel and home. Working with our team of neurodivergent lifestyle editors, you will own the assortment vision, identify trends and key products, and manage vendor & partner relationships, all while understanding the needs of our neurodivergent community. You’ll partner across product, marketing, design, and operations to bring your vision to life.
This role reports to the founder and oversees a small team, including a product manager and ops support.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute merchandising strategies aligned with financial and brand goals
- Curate seasonal and core assortments with trend awareness and customer insight
- Lead vendor sourcing, negotiations, and onboarding
- Drive Open-to-Buy (OTB), forecasting, and inventory planning
- Manage e-commerce merchandising, site presentation, and promotional strategy
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, design, and fulfillment teams
- Oversee product development meetings, pricing, and supply chain needs
- Present category and sales performance to internal and external stakeholders
- Travel to trade shows and vendor locations as needed
- Lead and mentor junior staff
What You Bring
- 5–7+ years of buying/merchandising experience in multi-unit or DTC retail
- A sharp eye for trend, design, and customer needs—especially within neurodivergent communities
- A strong understanding of Neurodivergence
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and planning skills
- Experience managing OTB, margin, and profitability
- Confident leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- BA/BS required
- Must be based in or able to commute to Davis, CA as needed
