About Us

Mashmetrics is a marketing analytics agency specializing in helping companies with $1B+ in gross revenue collect, report, analyze and most importantly take action on their data. We are seeking a PROVEN leader and sales executive to wear several hats in driving our 2024 growth goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for setting up a new client acquistion effort with one BDR/M, and maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.

About the Role

We are looking for a Fractional General Manager (with a sales background), who can create and execute a strategic growth plan for the entire business. We need your help to unlock the next stage of our company's growth. To date, our business has been built off of renewals and referrals. We don't have a strong outbound sales motion but are looking to change this.

Our clients are mostly in the following categories: fintech, banking, insurance, eCommerce, and gaming. Each client is unique, with different needs. Our service is not one-size-fits-all, it requires high touch and attention to deliver the value we want to deliver for each.

One common challenge for us: How can we encourage our clients to take more action on the data configurations and data deliverables that our service provides to them. The more action they take, the more value they see in our service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of 7 people, mostly data science/analysts + others within leadership team
  • Hire new team members as needed
  • Meet new client acquisition goals
  • Manage the finances of the business
  • Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained

This role will report directly to our founder and former CEO, who is stepping out of day-to-day business operations.

About You

You should be an experienced salesperson who can execute, not just manage others. You have a proven track record of closing deals, and you can show this to us.

We also value opinionated people with personality. You should be unafraid to challenge leadership, and even clients, in a sound, thoughtful, and data-driven way.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years professional experience, 5+ years in marketing and/or analytics-focused industries
  • Experience with marketing attribution analytics, data pipelines, etc. is a huge plus
  • Previous management, sales and operations experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead others
  • Comfortable working with BDR/M's, budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting
  • Can work your way around a P&L, balance sheet, etc.
