Role Overview
We’re looking for a freelance content writer to create sharp, short-form content for investors, operators, and portfolio executives. You’ll turn strategic insights into high-quality posts for LinkedIn, newsletters, and outbound campaigns — all with a tone that’s direct, smart, and never generic.
What You’ll Do
- Write 15 short-form posts (~150–250 words each) over a 3-week period
- Convert strategic ideas into clear, compelling copy
- Collaborate with an internal strategist (ex-Google Research, AI founder, YouTube Recsys builder)
- Maintain a voice that’s crisp, confident, and free of fluff
What We’re Looking For
- Strong B2B writing skills with a knack for brevity and impact
- Experience in fast-paced environments — startups, strategy roles, investment vehicles, etc.
- Ability to absorb complex ideas and distill them quickly
- Understanding of how B2B businesses grow and how mid-market, PE backed companies think
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate content generation process
Nice-to-Have (Strong Preference, Not Required)
- Background in VC, PE, consulting, or investment banking
- Experience supporting strategic executives or writing investor-facing material (e.g. memos, ghostwriting)
- Branding experience — you understand voice, tone, positioning, and visual storytelling
- Comfort using generative AI tools (e.g. Midjourney, DALL·E, Ideogram) to create visuals for blog and social posts
Compensation
This is a paid freelance project.
Please include a quote for writing 15 posts over a 3-week period.
